The Story

Section Line writes from the far side of forty-five — the stretch of life where you've already paid for what you know. These are songs about legacy built on purpose, not inherited by accident: the quarter-mile grid roads of the Dakotas, the empty chair at the table, hands that show what they've done. The narrator isn't chasing anymore — he's protecting what he built, keeping his word quiet instead of loud, and reckoning with the ghosts that got him here instead of running from them.
