You can have a good song about a birthday. Cake, candles, another year older — it does the job, it gets a laugh, and it goes in a drawer.
The better song isn’t about the birthday at all. It’s about them — the thing only they do, the line the whole family quotes, the year they got through and never mentioned. And then you hand it to them on their birthday.
That’s the difference between something played once and something played every year after. So when you tell us the occasion, you’re telling us the date it has to be ready. What it’s about is the person, and that’s the part we’ll ask you the most questions about.

- Mastering, $25 for each take you pick. Put that song out later and its $25 comes off the price of Out in the world, because that already includes the mastering — you never pay for it twice.
- Out in the world, $150 — mastered, artwork, metadata, the AI disclosure, delivery to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon and the rest, the store here, Content ID protection, and the splits set up. It earns fifty-fifty, agreed before a word was written.

Your song — or your whole album — can be sold on this site and put on the streaming services: Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and the rest of the major stores. The terms are below, in full, before you commit rather than after.
If we wrote it, we split it down the middle. Fifty-fifty of what actually lands, after the card processor or the streaming service takes theirs — we take the same hit you do. Every channel, whatever the record earns. Paid monthly, within 15 days of month end, $25 minimum rolling forward. No reserve, no holdback.
The why, in daylight: you brought the story and you paid for the record; we wrote the words, built the arrangement, produced it, mastered it and named it. For a song that just stays in your life this never comes up — it's yours, permanently. It only matters for the rare record that starts earning, and on that one we're partners, because we made it together. It doesn't expire. If you'd rather hold the whole thing yourself, you can buy our half out; ask and we'll give you the number. And a MusAIc record goes out through MusAIc — one pipeline, one set of credits, one correct disclosure. If you wrote the lyrics, your name goes on it as a writer.

- Every placement is curated — we release deliberately, not everything, and never from the memorial lane.
- Selling requires your written consent, in writing, before anything goes on sale.
- Real payouts mean real paperwork: we collect tax forms like a real label, because we are one.
- A sale on this site pays far better than a stream. A stream pays a fraction of a cent; a record sold here returns most of the price, because there is no distributor and no platform standing between the buyer and us. That is why we sell here as well as everywhere else — and why we push it.
- Two limits nobody else will tell you: performing-rights societies won't register purely AI works, so there are no publishing or performance royalties to collect on one — and streaming delivery depends on the AI service you used continuing to permit exports, which no one can guarantee.
