You're at the gate of a world
one man built
Past here, his bands live and make their music — every one imagined by ~MAK, every lyric his, openly performed with AI. Everything inside is imagined. Nothing about it is hidden.
The words you couldn't find, in a song.
Every band here is a real facet of one man — the veteran, the builder, the father, the one who watches the door. Not characters he made up. Parts of him that wouldn't share a room. It's all AI-performed and human-written, disclosed on arrival. The members are composites; the experiences and the observations are real.
The maker
I didn't set out to start a label. I set out to hear something.
I'm a Marine, a concrete guy, a scholar, a father — a North Dakota lifer who can't sing a lick. I had a life full of things I couldn't say in a meeting or at my own dinner table, and no way to get them out. Then a tool let me hear my own words come back in a voice, and it turned out I'd been stacking the material for fifty years.
I'm a systems guy, so I didn't just push a button. I built a method — how a lyric earns its place, how a song gets judged against fifty takes and all but the best killed, how a record is sequenced to play as one thing. The AI is the cheap part. Knowing which line lands is the work.
Then I found it works on other people's lives too. So I build songs for them, and I charge — not for the AI, which is cheap, but for the years of craft and the sitting-down-with-you. I love doing this. Loving it doesn't make it free.
It's all disclosed. AI-performed, human-written, ~MAK on the cover. You get the truth on the tin.
A growing world of bands
Walk one life in the voices it took to say it. Stream them, own them, license them.
Something you can't say either?
A wedding, a memorial, a person you can't find the words for. Bring us the story — the same craft that built these bands will build the one song that's yours. We don't charge for the AI; we charge for finding the line that lands.
