Why you get three
Most places hand you one song and then ask you to explain what's wrong with it. That's a hard thing to do. Almost nobody can say "the second verse sits too far back and the tempo is fighting the lyric" — they just know it isn't right, and then there's an awkward email, and then a week goes by.
So we skip that. The words are written once, for you, by a person — that part is the work and it doesn’t get multiplied. Then that lyric gets built, and you get six finished versions of it at once: six in one genre, or two each in three genres if you would rather compare directions. You listen and you point. Pointing is easy. Describing is hard.
You keep every one of them. The licence covers every one of them. We don’t hold versions back to sell you later, and we don’t ask for more money to unlock the one you liked.
And there is a reason you keep them all rather than just the winner. Change a word and the whole recording changes with it — we can get very close to a version you liked, never exactly it. So nothing you liked is taken away because you asked for a change. That is also what the tiers are really selling: not edits, but how many more times you get to hear it and say not quite that.
Memorials are handled gently, on purpose. You only have to go through it once — tell us about them one time and we take it from there. If you would rather stay with it and say what needs changing after you have heard it, that is there too, and it never expires.

Put that song out later and its $25 comes off the price of Out in the world, because that already includes the mastering — you never pay for it twice. The credit is per track: master five and release one and $25 comes off, not five times $25.

$150One purchase, one decision: the song stops being private. We master it, make the art, write the metadata and the per-service AI disclosure, deliver it to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music and the rest, put it in the store here, fingerprint it with Content ID so nobody can quietly claim it out from under either of us, and set up the splits. You can perform it publicly too. And it earns fifty-fifty — half of what actually lands, after the platform takes its cut — which was agreed before a word of it was written, not bolted on afterwards. Full terms before you buy.
Selling downloads here is not a separate purchase. Out in the world opens both channels — the streaming platforms and the store on this site — and you are asked for money once, not twice. On a song we wrote for you, what it earns is split fifty-fifty of what actually lands, after the card processor or the platform takes its cut; we take the same hit you do. That split is agreed before a word of it is written, not added when the money shows up. Paid monthly, $25 minimum rolling forward. One limit worth knowing before you buy rather than after: we have a distributor in place and we deliver your record properly, but each service decides for itself whether to accept music made this way, those rules are changing, and one that accepts it can change its mind later. If it ever comes down you keep the master, the artwork and the metadata and can put it back up yourself — the full position is in the terms. The fee and the split cover different things: what you pay buys the record made and put out correctly, work done once. The split is what happens afterwards on a record that earns, and it is even because we made that record together.
