What We Collect

Not much, and nothing sneaky. When you start a commission or fill out a form, we collect the contact details you give us — your name and email. We collect the story material you share in the intake process — the memories, the moments, the phrases that make your song yours. We record your consent choices (whether you opted into label news). And we run basic site analytics — which pages get visited, how long people stay — nothing that identifies you personally.

What It's For

Your contact details and story material exist for one reason: producing your song. We email you about your own order — always, every time, no box to check. That's not marketing; that's the work. If you want label news — new bands, new releases, occasional offers — that's the box you checked (or didn't) on the intake form. We don't send label news to anyone who didn't ask for it.

Your Stories Are Sensitive and We Treat Them That Way

The story you give us — especially memorial intakes — is not marketing fuel. It's not training data. It's not content we repurpose. It's used solely to produce your song. We never turn your story into marketing copy. We never sell it. We never share it, except in one specific case: when you order human mastering, we may share your track with a mastering engineer under a confidentiality agreement. That's it. No other sharing. No other use.

Deletion on Request

If you want your story material and contact record deleted, email us and we'll do it. No forms, no friction, no retention period. You ask, we delete. The only exception is what we're legally required to keep for tax and business records — and that's financial data, not your story.

What We Don't Do

We don't sell your data. We don't run ad networks or tracking pixels from third-party advertisers. We don't rent, trade, or share your email with marketing lists. If we ever change any of this, we'll tell you here in plain language — not in a 2,000-word update nobody reads.

Governance

This site is operated by KBA LLC (Fargo, North Dakota) and runs on the KBA Standard's governance architecture — the commitments on our Governance page aren't decoration; this policy is one of them.
